University Relations department is inviting students and faculty members worldwide
to participate in its idea contest. The winning project will be showcased at
CeBIT 2016.
- Project entries must use Software AG’s Digital Business Platform to
model its implementation and benefits.
- An endowment of up to €10,000 is available for the idea contest; the
winner will be eligible to present its showcase model to customers and the
press at Software AG’s CeBIT 2016 booth.
Software AG’s University
Relations department has announced its fifth annual international CeBIT idea
contest. The competition is open to students and faculty at colleges and
universities around the world and invites them to submit creative proposals for
a project to be showcased at CeBIT 2016, the largest IT fair worldwide. Software
AG’s Digital Business Platform must be used for the project. Furthermore, entries
should depict a market-oriented, real-life model scenario, which highlights the
platform’s capabilities for big data, Industry 4.0, integration and business
process management. The winning project will receive up to €10,000 for
implementation.
Software AG’s Digital Business Platform helps
organizations achieve their business goals faster. By way of agile business
applications and data analysis technologies, it enables them to make the right
decisions fast in a market where conditions are constantly changing. The Digital
Business Platform provides organizations with the framework essential to
successfully transforming to a Digital Enterprise—a challenge all companies
must face.
Now,
students and faculty members from around the world have the chance to develop compelling
model solutions for the digital age that clearly and tangibly illustrate the benefits
of such applications. The winning model will be featured at the Software AG
booth during CeBIT 2016 and presented to the CeBIT audience by its team of creators.
The CeBIT 2016
contest is now open; interested parties can register by emailing university@softwareag.com by September 18,
2015. Concepts must be submitted by October 16, 2015. Those eligible to win will
be notified on November 6 and will receive funding of up to €10,000 to realize
their showcase project, to be presented at CeBIT 2016 from March 14-18, 2016.
