ESET is partner van e-gamers op Gamescom, ‘s werelds belangrijkste beurs voor games

KEULEN, 16 augustus 2012 - ESET, de leider in proactieve bescherming tegen cyberbedreigingen die dit jaar de 25ste verjaardag van zijn technologie viert, is op Gamescom partner van computer gamers en Schenker Notebooks – producent van de speciale XMG gaming computers. Vanaf woensdag 15 augustus heeft 's werelds grootste gaming event plaats in Keulen. Honderdduizenden enthousiastelingen krijgen er de mogelijkheid om ESET te bezoeken op de ESET/XMG stand, in de ESL Arena, in hall 8. De beurs zal zijn hoogtepunt kennen met de wedstrijd ESET Summer Masters Starcraft 2 die op zaterdag 18 augustus plaats heeft.

De ESET/XMG stand heeft een oppervlakte van 200 m² met een podium van 45 m² van waar het gaming event in FullHD zal uitgezonden worden. De media partner voor deze wedstrijd is de Duitse muziekzender TV im1. Het hoogtepunt wordt de ESET Summer Masters op zaterdag, waarbij top e-sport gamers het tegen elkaar zullen opnemen voor cash prijzen terwijl de bekende Sebastian "HomerJ" Schenck van Starcraft 2 commentaar zal geven. De wedstrijd zal live uitgezonden worden op Internet via live-streamed over the internet.

Nog voor de wedstrijd van zaterdag zal er heel wat gaming zijn en zullen er feestjes gebouwd worden op de ESET stand. Het begint al donderdag avond met het optreden van een DJ. Het grootste muziekfeest zal vrijdag om 19u. plaats hebben, als DJ‘s Shamram Jey en Tube&Berger op het podium staan. Elke dag hebben van 's morgens tot 's avonds wedstrijden, trailershows, shootouts en tombola’s plaats.
